Snowstorm February 11, 2010

It just doesn't happen that often in Texas! Not like this anyway!
We received almost a foot of snow! Reports range from 10 to 12 inches, depending on where you live, but either way, it is a lot of snow for a bunch of folks who are only used to an occasional dusting or ice storm.
School is closed for two days now.
I even took a snow day from work.
Snowmen are being built all over the neighborhoods!

Here is what it looked like at my house!

Yay! What fun! We are still digging out here too, and more reported on the way. But that is normal for this time of year up here, so I'm celebrating this special joy with you, LIz!

Nice pictures. Like the new blog layout.

You might want to edit your post title unless you are predicting another snowstorm next year, 2011. Had to chuckle on that one as I'm sure you are now. :-)
Love,
Paula

LOL! Thanks, Paula...yes, it was the 11th of February that was on my mind! Corrected it as soon as I read your comment - and yes, with a chuckle!

How fun! My girls were a bit jealous when I told them it was snowing in 'north' Texas. ;)

I'd really love to share in your excitements but I've never seen snow. (sad).
