This is the chalkboard at the local Starbucks coffee shop. Fabulous!
We do not serve coffee at our worship services and I love it. Part of the reason we don't serve coffee is to use those funds and service talents in other areas of ministry. The Village is known for our "no-frills" atmosphere. Another reason that we don't serve coffee is so that we, the body...the church...will get out of ourselves and get to know the people in our community...like the ones at our local coffee shops. Our pastor, Matt, has done that well. This is what "his" Starbucks had on their community wall this week!
