My son and his girlfriend flew out very early on this morning. I woke up at 4:30 a.m. to make sure I spent the last few minutes of time with them and then my husband took them to the airport before 6 a.m. to catch their flight.

This is a photo of my son's bedroom after he left. It is always sad when I go into his room to look things over and this is what I see. The unmade bed is a blatant reminder that they have left.

Sad stuff.
